Ceir Registration By Doing IMEI Verification
The Ceir registration by doing IMEI verification is given below step by step:-
- Step 1:- First, you must go to the CEIR Website
- Step 2:- A homepage will open in front of you. On the homepage, you must click on the application link. Now, select IMEI Verification.
- Step 3:- To obtain your OTP, enter your mobile number on the new page and click the “Get OTP” button.
- Step 4:- After receiving an OTP on your phone, input it into the box and click the verify OTP button.
- Step 5:- After entering the IMEI number, click the check box.
- Step 6:- in the last step your IMEI will be verified.
Procedure to Block Lost or Stolen Mobile
The procedure to block lost phone or stolen phone , there are three ways and they are given below:-
- Through online registration form:-
- Step 1:- First, the person must file a FIR against the stolen cell phone.
- Step 2:- After filing a successful FIR, the individual must obtain a duplicate sim card for his or her former number that has been reported stolen.
- Step 3:- You will then need to complete out this Application Form, which will be displayed on your screen.
- Step 4:- Submit all applicable papers, including a copy of the FIR and evidence of identity (such as an Aadhaar card or voter ID card).
- Step 5:- When you submit the form successfully, you will receive a request ID. Save the request ID for future use.

Procedure to un-lock Recovered or Found Mobile
The procedure to un-lock recovered or found mobile phone is given below in steps:-
- Step 1:- To unblock your find mobile, go to the Central Equipment Identity Register website and select the “CEIR Services” option from the menu bar.
- Step 2:- A list will be show on the screen from which you must select the “Un-Block Found Mobile” option.
- Step 3:- A new page appears, with a form where you may enter information such as the request ID, the mobile number you provided while blocking, a reason to unblock, and the cellphone number for OTP. Step 4:- Select the GET OTP option, and you will receive an OTP via SMS.
- Step 5:- Enter the OTP and click the “Submit” button to send the request.

- Step 1:- To unblock your find cellphone, you must visit the Central Equipment Identity Register official website, ceir.gov.in.
