The Ministry of Micro, small, and medium enterprises in the year 2020 introduced a unique registration mechanism for MSMEs which is called Udyam Aadhaar. The registration for Udyam Aadhaar is based on self-confirmation, it qualifies MSMEs to register themselves for free and to obtain the Udyam Aadhaar number. The registration process is very simple and is completely online. It takes very little time to complete. After the completion of the registration, the MSMEs gets an Udyam Registration Certificate. This certificate can be used as proof of registration.
About MSME (Udyam)
The MSME Udyam is a registration proof that is given to the MSMEs. The MSMEs have to register themselves and they need to obtain a Udyam Aadhaar number. This registration will provide the MSMEs with a new identity to do their business efficiently. The enterprises will obtain a permanent identity number through this registration. - Upon successful registration, you will receive an electronic certificate called the “Udyam Registration Certificate.” This certificate will have a dynamic QR Code that makes it simple to obtain enterprise information.

- The benefits that MSMEs obtain vary according to their yearly revenue. Microenterprises with annual revenues up to 5 crores are eligible for registration and associated benefits.
- Additionally eligible are medium-sized businesses with a turnover of up to Rs 250 crores and small businesses with a turnover of up to Rs 75 crores.
- Microbusinesses with less than one crore in investments gain from Udyam registration. Small firms should not be able to invest more than Rs 10 crores, while medium-sized businesses should not be able to invest more than Rs 50 crores.

Step 2:-second the PAN verification will be done, in this you need to provide information like the name of the organization, PAN number, name of the PAN holder, and dob.
Step 3:-in the third step the registration for Udyam Aadhaar will be started. In this step, the applicant needs to provide his or her name as per Aadhar or Pan card, mobile number and email ID, category, gender, specially-abled, name of enterprise, etc.
Step 4:- in the fourth step you need to provide all the basic information about the location of the plant, the official address of the enterprise, etc.

Udyam Registration for Those Already Having Registration as UAM
The registration process for those already having registration as UAM is given below step by step:-
Step 1:- visit the official Udyam Registration website of the first step.
Step 2:- Complete the Udyam Aadhaar re-registration form with all the information relevant to your business sector, such as proprietor, pvt ltd, partnership firm, or public limited.
Step 3:- Complete your re-registration application payment online.
Step 4:- Your re-registration application will be processed by a registration executive.
Step 5:- Your Udyam certificate will be sent to the email address you registered with in 2-4 working hours.
Udyam Registration for Those Already Having Registration as UAM Through Assisted Filling
Udyam Registration for those already having registration as UAM through Assisted filling is given below step by step:-
Step 1:-firstly visit the official web portal of the MSME udyam portal online.
Step 2:- The applicant has to click on the “for those already having registration as UAM through Assisted filling” button available on the home page.
Step 3:- after this a new page will be in front of you where you need to fill in your Udyog Aadhar number. After filling it there you need to choose the OTP option.
Step 4:- now click on the “ validate and generate OTP” after choosing the OTP option.
Step 5:- lastly you registration process will be completed after OTP has been entered.

- Firstly the personal information of the applicant like full name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Second, the information about the enterprise like the PAN number of the enterprise, etc.
Udyam Registration Login

- First of all, you need to enter your 19-digit UdyamRegistration number.
- After this enter your mobile number, which you have already filled in the application.
- After this there will be two options to choose from for the OTP, choose one to proceed further.
- After clicking on the validate and generate OTP button, you will receive OTP on selected option.
- Now you have to fill in the OTP and click on the validate OTP and login button.
